Joan L. Rouleau
Joan L. Rouleau, 70, of Nashua, wife of Paul R. Rouleau, passed away Sunday afternoon, December 22, 2024 after a period of declining health.
A longtime resident of Nashua, Joan was born in Methuen, Massachusetts on August 21, 1954, a daughter of Gerard J. Jutras and the late Helen A. (Berube) Jutras. During her youth, she grew up in Chelmsford and attended schools in Lowell, MA. Joan was a graduate of Alvirne High School in Hudson with the Class of 1972, where she was also an assistant Art teacher. She then furthered her education at Rivier College, now Rivier University.
Joan was employed at the former Kollsman Instruments in Merrimack for many years where she worked as an optical technician.
In her free time, Joan found joy in painting and exploring various forms of art. Also, she had a love for cooking, baking, and sharing that gift with others.
Members of her family include her husband Paul, whom she married in 1978 and shared 46 years together; her sons, Keith Rouleau and his wife Lauren of Columbia, SC and Eric Rouleau of Nashua, NH; two grandsons, Tyler and Cole Rouleau; her father, Gerard J. Jutras of New Boston, NH; her seven siblings, Susan Pelski (widow of Paul Pelski) of Nashua, NH, Paul Jutras and his wife Nancy of Salem, NH, Russ Jutras and his wife Debbie of Carrollton, TX, Carl Jutras and his wife Lisa of Milford, NH, Linda Madsen and her husband Mark of New Boston, NH, Karen Salvi and her husband Michael of Hudson, NH and the late Carol M. Jutras; also many nieces, nephews and cousins.
