Arline M. Spahn, 100 of Manchester, NH died Monday January 13, 2025 at Evergreen Place in Manchester, NH. Arline was born in Framingham, MA on September 3, 1924, a daughter of the late Archie and Theresa (Wright) Sprague. She moved to Rockport, MA after living in Londonderry, NH for 62 years. She had more recently resided in Nashua, NH for 11 years.

Arline had previously been employed as a bookkeeper for W.T. Grant Co. in Bedford, NH. She was a former member of the American Red Cross chapter in Gloucester, MA where she served as Executive Director. She had been a member of Chorus North Shore and used to sing with the Interfaith Choir. Arline sung all over the world, in nearly every country in Europe. She was also very active with the YMCA in Rockport, MA.

She is survived by one son, David Spahn of Hooksett, NH, one daughter, Mary Gorman and her husband Robert of Hudson, NH, five grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, and several great great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her first husband, Erwin Morse who died in 1943, and later by her second husband Joseph Spahn in 1982. She was also predeceased by her daughter, Janet Beers, and by her siblings, Harry Sprague and Mary Cook.

Friends and family may call on Saturday January 18, 2025 from 9 – 10:15am in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 290 Mammoth Rd., Londonderry. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday at 11:00am at St. Jude Parish, 435 Mammoth Rd., Londonderry. Private burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Londonderry at a later date.
