Lucille A. (Boudreau) Rodziewicz

HUDSON, N.H. – Lucille A. (Boudreau) Rodziewicz, 98, a resident of Hudson, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 20, 2025 at The Inn at Fairview, Hudson, surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of the late Peter J. Rodziewicz with whom she shared 62 years of marriage until his passing in 2008.

She was born in Salem, MA on August 18, 1926, and was the daughter of the late Albert and Bertha (Gaudreau) Boudreau.

Lucille’s early years were spent in Salem, MA. After moving to Lowell, she was educated at the Saint Louis de France School. After her marriage to Peter they moved to Dracut, and raised their family. Over the years they also lived in York Beach, ME.

Lucille lived a happy, fulfilling life. She was devoted to her family for whom she loved to cook and bake. She was famous for her apple and pineapple pies. She also loved to crochet and had a passion for reading. Disney World was her favorite place to vacation. She even went on a Disney cruise with family. She spent many hours on the beach in Maine, sunning, walking and enjoying the grand and great grandchildren.

Lucille leaves her two daughters, Elaine Couillard Silva and her husband Joseph of Hudson, NH, and Linda Zagorites and her husband Peter of York Beach, ME; her five granddaughters, Nancy Hammond and her husband Brian of Hudson, NH, Shirley Wentworth and her husband Joseph of Windham, NH, Catherine Paquette of Litchfield, NH, Melissa Murrin and her husband Warren of Hollis, NH, and Kristin Wilson and her husband Eric of Nashua, NH; her twelve great grandchildren and her three great-great grandchildren.

Memorial donations may be made in her name to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital at 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or stjude.org.

Visiting hours will be held on Friday, February 28, 2025 from 4 pm – 7 pm at the DRACUT FUNERAL HOME, 2159 Lakeview Ave., DRACUT. Her funeral service and interment will be held privately.
