Linda Pauline (Walker) Martineau

Linda Pauline (Walker) Martineau, age 80, of Nashua, NH, passed away on February 22, 2025, at St. Joseph Hospital in Nashua, NH. Born on August 31, 1944, in Lowell, Massachusetts, she was the beloved daughter of the late Joseph and Pauline (Provencher) Walker. A graduate of Lowell High School and Lowell Commercial College, Linda lived a life full of love, family, and dedication to those around her.

Linda married Robert “Bob” Martineau, and together for over 50 years, they raised a beautiful family. Robert predeceased her in 2017, leaving a void that will forever be felt in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

Linda is survived by her devoted children, Lisa Martineau Laramie and husband, John P. Laramie of Nashua; and David Martineau and wife, Tammy Ganong Martineau of Merrimack; cherished granddaughters, Kathleen Laramie of Nashua, Taylor Martineau of Merrimack, Alexis Martineau of Merrimack and Jacqueline Martineau of Merrimack; brother, Joseph Walker of Lowell, MA; sisters-in-law, Joline M. Soucy of Pelham, NH; and Roberta D’Emilio of Wayne, PA; brother-in-law, Dr. William Cashore of E. Greenwich, RI; and many loving nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Linda was predeceased by her beloved husband, Robert Martineau; sisters-in-law Pauline M. Cashore, and Denise McDonough, and brother-in-law, Paul J. Soucy.

Linda’s warm and caring presence will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to a charity of your choice in Linda’s memory.

The family will hold private services at the New Hampshire Veterans Cemetery at a later date to celebrate her life.
