Patrick T. Hefferan

Monson, Maine – Patrick T. Hefferan, 40, passed away suddenly February 28, 2025. He was born January 28, 1985, in Nashua, the son of Timothy F. and Julia L. (Gribble) Hefferan.
Patrick grew up in Nashua, where he first discovered his love of guitar and cycling and he spent a lot of time making music, cartooning, writing screenplays, and creating art. He had many friends and graduated from University of New Hampshire Manchester and later moved to New York City, where he started his band OfCourse! with drummer and roommate PJazz and he also met his wife, Kassie. Becoming a father was Patrick’s proudest moment, and after lots of traveling, he moved to Monson, Maine, in 2019, where he and his wife bought a house with their two children and opened a cafe on the Appalachian Trail. Patrick found his calling working with students at SeDoMoCha Elementary School and he loved being able to teach where his kids went to school. He was a great carpenter, talented artist, beautiful poet, and an amazing devoted father and husband, as well as a beloved member of his community. His children will always remember him as a lovely special person who filled their lives with laughter and meaningful music.
Patrick is survived by his parents; his wife, Kassandra (Jahn) Hefferan; son, Sagan Ray Hefferan; daughter, Sibelius Lynn Hefferan; brother, Christopher Hefferan and his wife, Allison, and their children, Lachlan and Callum; mother-in-law and father in-law, Bruce and Karen Jahn; sister-in-law, Eileen Turgott and husband, Eric, and their children, Kara, Aria, and Mila; sister-in-law, Brianne Jahn and fiancé, Alex; sister-in-law, Nadine Miracle and husband, David, and their children, Cooper, Clay, Ashton, and Jackson; and brother-in-law, Bryan Jahn and fiancée, Marissa.
Private services will be held. A celebration of Pat’s life will be held at Whittle Bird in Guilford, Maine on Sunday, March 9, 2025, from 3pm-5pm. All are welcome. An additional celebration will be held in Pat’s hometown of Nashua, at a later date. Arrangements are in the care of the Lary Funeral Home. Patrick loved gardening and in lieu of flower arrangements his family would appreciate any living plants so they can continue to care for them after the services. Photos and memories are greatly appreciated. Messages of condolence and memories may be expressed at www.laryfuneralhome.com.
