Agnes Wiseman

Agnes Wiseman, 88, of Lowell, MA, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 29, 2025. She was born on October 17, 1936, in Baker, MT, the daughter of the late Emmanuel Jacob “EJ” and Caroline Freier.

Agnes was the beloved wife of the late Russell Wiseman. They were married on December 29, 1955, in Plevna, MT.

Agnes attended Baker High School in Baker, MT, graduating in 1955. Throughout her life, she worked as a bank teller, dental assistant, dental office manager, and later as a massage therapist in Grand Junction, CO. She was a dedicated member of several churches, including Billings Bible Church in Billings, MT; Calvary Bible Church; Monument Bible Church in Grand Junction, CO; Twin Peaks Bible Camp in Mesa, CO; and Community Chapel Church of the Nazarene in Nashua, NH. She was also a member of the American Massage Therapy Association.

She enjoyed singing, playing the piano, gardening, and practicing massage therapy. Her love for music and her nurturing spirit were evident in all she did, whether tending to her garden or caring for those around her.

She is survived by her children: Tim & Carrie (Wiseman) Dougherty of Fishers, IN; Doug & Chris Wiseman of Rochester, NH; and Julie Ormesher of Dover, NH. She also leaves behind her cherished grandchildren: Krystal Wiseman Bos and her husband David of Jenison, MI; Megan Dougherty Cheek and her husband Mike of Brownsburg, IN; Emily Dougherty Litke and her husband Nathan of Salem, OR; Timothy John (TJ) Dougherty and his wife Natalie Nhok of Indianapolis, IN; Rebekah Ormesher of Mt. Vernon, WA; Sarah Wiseman of Newburyport, MA; Jake Besong and his wife Melissa of Hill, NH; Jamie Besong of Nashua, NH; and Jessica Bennett and her husband Kevin of Dunbarton, NH. She also leaves behind her great-grandchildren, Maggie Cheek of Brownsburg, IN; Bonnie and Tilly Litke of Salem, OR; Abigail and Elizabeth Bos of Jenison, MI; and Grace Bennett of Dunbarton, NH.

Aside from her parents, she was predeceased by her siblings: Ervin Freier, Edmund Freier, Edna Atkinson, Helen Allerdings, Lorene Buerkle, and Winnie Johnson Freier.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 4, 2025, at Community Chapel Church of the Nazarene, 5 St Laurent St, Nashua, NH 03064.

Those who wish may make a memorial contribution in Agnes’s memory to Community Chapel Church of the Nazarene in Nashua, NH. The DAVIS FUNERAL HOME, One Lock St., Nashua, has been placed in charge of arrangements.
