Margaret Elizabeth Carle Tripp

Margaret Elizabeth Carle Tripp, age 93, went home to be with her Lord on April 8, 2025. Margaret grew up in Princeton, Maine. She graduated from Eastern Maine General Hospital in Bangor in 1953 as a registered nurse. After graduation, she moved to Texas to be with her sister, Roberta. While there, she reconnected with Jack Tripp, a high school friend who was in the Air Force. They were married on May 18, 1955 and moved to Milford several years later. Margaret loved teaching, especially women’s Bible studies and children. She had a wonderful gift for hospitality, making every person feel at home while visiting her. Margaret was predeceased by her parents, Robert and Grace (Yates) Carle, husband of fifty-nine years, Jack Tripp, sister, Roberta Wheaton and brother, Norman Carle. She is survived by children Mark Tripp (Dorrie), Clermont, FL; Jeanette Tripp, Milford, NH; Jeanelle Luckett (Trace), El Cajon, CA; and Paul Tripp (Becky), Amherst, NH; and by eight grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. A celebration of Margaret’s life was held at Village Bible Church, Amherst, NH on Tuesday, April 15, 2025. Memorial gifts may be sent “in memory of Margaret C. Tripp” to Faith Comes by Hearing, an organization distributing audio Bibles, impacting millions of people worldwide who have no Bible in their language.
