Gerard Aldage “Jerry” Pelletier

Apr 23, 2025

Gerard Aldage “Jerry” Pelletier, 87, died peacefully on Saturday, April 19, 2025 at St. Joseph Hospital. He is the beloved husband of Yvette E. (Beauchamp) Pelletier with whom he shared 60 beautiful years of marriage.

Jerry was born in Attleboro, Massachusetts on September 22, 1937 and was the son of the late Aldage and Doris (Mercier) Pelletier. He attended schools in the Attleboro School System, graduated from Attleboro High School with the class of 1955 and attended and graduated with his associates degree grom the University of Maryland.

He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force until he was honorably discharged in September in 1962.

For 35 years, he worked for Greenridge Turkey Farm, beginning his career there as a cook and then excelled his way to becoming their baker as well as their manager. In his later years, he was employed at Belletetes Hardware Store for 20 years until his retirement.

Jerry was a man of many passions and quiet talents, whose love for life was reflected in everything he did. He had a creative eye and a deep appreciation for beauty, often seen behind his beloved Pentax camera capturing life’s simple and profound moments. A gifted cake decorator and skilled woodworker, Jerry had a knack for crafting joy-whether it was through a beautifully adorned cake or a finely made piece of furniture. An avid reader, Jerry especially treasured the time spent with his Kindle, often calling it the best gift he ever received. But more than hobbies or travels-of which there were many, from Maine to the Amish Country, Alaska to Bermuda-it was time with his family that mattered most. Whether at family parties or relaxing by the pool, Jerry found his greatest joy in the company of his loved ones. His most cherished moments were always those spent with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, with whom he shared his wisdom, warmth, and unwavering love.

In addition to his wife, Yvette, he is survived by his three children, Karen LaRoche and her husband David of Merrimack, Michael Pelletier and his significant other Heidi O’Grady of Litchfield, and Debra Leo and her husband Mark of Merrimack; seven grandchildren, Jason LaRoche, Linzy LaRoche, Corrie Cook and her husband Keith, Taylor Golen and her husband Adam, Ava Pelletier, Samatha Leo, and Isabelle Leo; as well as his nine great-grandchildren, Jackson, Trez, Elia, Andre, Alexander, Hailey, Michael, Benjamin, and Ellie. He is also survived by his two siblings, Pauline Craig and her husband David of Attleboro, MA and Gordon Pelletier and his wife Jan of Onset, MA as well as several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his sister, Elaine Briggs and her husband George and his brother Paul Pelletier.

Relatives and friends are invited to Jerry’s visitation on MONDAY, May 5th from 4 until 7 PM at ROCHETTE FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICES, 21 Kinsley Street, Nashua.
