Elaine Dolly (Gagnon) Poulin

Elaine Dolly (Gagnon) Poulin passed on to her eternal reward on Saturday, April 26, 2025, after a brief illness. Born in Nashua, NH, she was the daughter of the late Henry “Buster” and Catherine (Dolly) Gagnon. She attended Sacred Heart School and graduated from Mount St. Mary Seminary in Nashua. She worked at Second National Bank, as a dental assistant for Dr. Robert W. Lavallee, First Federal Savings Bank, in safe deposit for Bank of NH, and as a cemeterian for St. Patrick and Holy Cross Cemeteries. But the job she said she loved the most was that of a wife to the late Victor C. Poulin, and the mother of Catherine E. Poulin of Nashua.

She was predeceased by her brothers-in-laws, Derek Canfield, William Cogger, and Valmor Poulin, Jr., as well as her sister-in-law, Lucille Poulin. Besides her daughter, she is survived by her sister, Dorothy Cogger, of Newburyport, MA, her brother, Richard “Butch” Gagnon and his wife Diane Gagnon, of Apache Junction, AZ, along with many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.

The family wishes to thank the medical teams at Southern NH Medical and Community Home Health and Hospice of Merrimack for their kindness, care and compassion.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Louis de Gonzague Church, 50 West Hollis Street, Nashua, Thursday, May 1st at 10 a.m. Interment will follow at St. Patrick Cemetery in Hudson. Friends are invited to attend and kindly asked to meet at church. Arrangements are in the care of the Farwell Funeral Service, 18 Lock Street, Nashua.
