Love and thanks to all mothers
On Sunday, we take pause to celebrate and honor likely the most important person in each of our lives – our mothers.
From infancy through adulthood, mothers always are there, taking care of us through childhood coughs and colds, kissing and bandaging our skinned knees, helping us with homework, holding our hands through early hardships and offering life lessons that last us all a lifetime.
Mothers certainly are special people, loving, selfless and wise – whether we want to admit it at the time or not. The values and knowledge they instill in their offspring turn out to be priceless, especially as the years stretch on.
These hard-working, compassionate and talented ladies certainly do deserve a day all to themselves – multiple days, even – for all they do to raise their children and ensure they are functioning and successful members of society.
Without all the mothers in this world, we would be no more than cavemen and cave women, aimlessly roaming the hills and valleys scavenging for food and shelter – and no, that’s probably not much of an exaggeration.
The impact moms have on our collective lives – and all of society for that matter – is immeasurable and never-to-be underestimated.
We certainly cannot give enough thanks to these wonderful women who have such influence on our lives, from childhood through old age.
We do encourage those reading this today to cherish your moms, spend as much time as you can with them and say those all-important words – I love you. Unfortunately, some people do not realize how important their mother’s are until it’s too late, after they have passed on.
Please join all of us at The Telegraph on Mother’s Day to give thanks and love to all moms throughout Greater Nashua and Southern New Hampshire.
