On behalf of the Souhegan Valley Transportation Collaborative (aka The Blue Bus) during National Transit Week from June 17-21, we thank the many employees and drivers of the Nashua Transportation System for their hard work. Dispatch answers phone calls and ensures that schedules are efficient. Dedicated drivers make sure that the residents of Amherst, Brookline, Hollis, Milford, Mont Vernon and Wilton get to medical appointments on time, buy groceries, prescriptions and other essentials. They also ensure riders have opportunities to utilize libraries, senior centers and other social service agencies. Many of these older riders and those with disabilities have few other transportation options.
