No, it doesn’t
On the front page of The Telegraph, June 13, 2019, I read a troubling statement in the article COMPROMISE. Democratic legislators passed a $12.9 billion spending plan with nine Republicans in opposition. Senate President Donna Soucy, D-Manchester, said the budget “works for everyone.”
No, it doesn’t.
Soucy went on to say, “… delivers much-needed meaningful property tax relief to New Hampshire cities and towns.”
What city? What town? Not in Nashua, where these same Democratic legislators imposed a $150 million property tax increase.
I moved to New Hampshire in 1966 to get away from Massachusetts taxes. Did the Democratic legislators migrate to New Hampshire from Massachusetts bringing their love of TAX AND SPEND with them?
