There are a lot of good local teams out there, and many of them picked up wins on Monday.

The girls volleyball version of the Battle of the Bridge will feature one of the area’s hottest teams on Wednesday: the Nashua South Panthers, who have started the season off at 6-1, their best start likely since their title year of 2019. Meanwhile, the Merrimack Tomahawks are another great story, as they have just one loss as well. That’s ahead, plus details of a sixth straight win for the Bishop Guertin girls field hockey team and bounc-back wins for Hollis Brookline field hockey, as well as Milford volleyball.
