It was a tough day for the remaining three high school girls soccer teams competing in the NHIAA tourney.

Here’s the bad news:

DIVISION II

NO. 7 MERRIMACK VALLEY 3, NO. 10 MILFORD 1

The Spartans wind up the season 4-6-7, managing just a goal by Alexis Bausha, assisted by Jocelyn Shaw. Molly Miles had eight saves for Milford.

Merrimack Valley (7-5-5) goes on to face No. 2 Bow in the quarterfinals on Friday.

NO. 6 KINGSWOOD 2, NO. 11 SOUHEGAN 0

The Sabers couldn’t muster much offense as their season ends at 5-7-5, while Kingswood (7-4-6) will move on to face No. 3 John Stark in the quarters on Friday.

DIVISION III

NO. 11 DERRYFIELD 4, NO. 6 CAMPBELL 2

The upset of the day was the Cougars win over Campbell in Litchfield, as the locals fell to 12-3-2.

Derryfield, now 6-6-3, heads to face No.3 St. Thomas in Dover on Friday.
