The Bishop Guertin High School boys hockey team just keeps on winning.

The Cardinals are the hottest team in the state, and they kept the temperature boiling at Skate 3 Arena in Tyngsborough, Mass. on Monday with a 7-1 rout of fellow contender Hanover.

Guertin, now 14-3 and currently second behind 15-2 Concord in Division I, had six goal scorers and 11 players were on the scoresheet in total.

The teams were tied at 1 after one period before BG broke it open with three goals in the second and three in the third.

Dom Trepanier led the way with a pair of goals and an assist. Jordan O’Hearn had a goal and two assists, while other BG goal scorers were Tyler Tesak, Ryan Mogielnicki, Noah Cordiero and Cam Vaillancourt.

Bradyn MacLean led the way with three assists, while other assists were credited to Jordan Delude, Sean Schultz, Jack Stone, Will McBournie and Sean Huges.

Conor Hayes had 23 saves in goal for the Cards, who wrap up the regular season Saturday at home vs. Trinity.
